The Women's Guild
Since 1914 the Women's Guild has provided much-needed support for many Church projects. Starting as a sewing circle to support servicemen and the Red Cross during World War I, the Guild has since been instrumental in organizing and sponsoring dinners and rummage sales and gathering donations.
Among its many accomplishments are purchasing dishes, silverware, and stained glass windows for the Church; refurbishing the kitchen in Tangeman Hall; and contributing toward the repair of the organ. The Women's Guild has also supported many philanthropic organizations, including Pilgrim Place, House of Ruth, Meals on Wheels, Recording for the Blind, and others.
